Perform and interpret process capability analysis for any continuous or attribute data set
Select and run the correct hypothesis test to confirm or reject improvement hypotheses
Use regression analysis to model relationships between process inputs and outputs
Design and analyse a basic factorial experiment to optimise process settings
Complete an FMEA for a process redesign and use RPN scores to prioritise risk mitigation
Build and interpret a suite of control charts for ongoing process monitoring
Present a completed project to a finance team with a validated savings calculation

Estimated Annual Time Saving per Person

Estimated 20–50 hours per person per year. Green Belt projects typically deliver 20–40% reduction in defect rates, 15–35% improvement in cycle time, and measurable cost of quality savings. A single well-executed Green Belt project commonly saves £50,000–£250,000 in direct costs per year, depending on process volume.

“Really decent green belt course, using real templates and it’s great to work on a project, I would recommend!”

Joe didn’t just watch the lessons — he rolled up his sleeves and applied the DMAIC framework to a real workplace project. Using the course’s downloadable templates, he worked through each phase: defining the problem, measuring baseline performance, analysing root causes, implementing improvements, and establishing controls. The result? A documented case study that demonstrates real Green Belt capability.

Who is this for?

Built for project leaders

Green Belt is for people who will actually lead improvement projects. You'll leave able to write a project charter, collect and analyse data, test hypotheses, and present capability results to executives.

Most learners complete in 4-6 weeks at 5-6 hours per week. The course includes a guided mini-project so you apply every tool to a real scenario.

If you already have Yellow Belt, Green Belt is the natural next step.
